Experience:
Victoria Mignone is a Mental Health Counselor with an Advanced Certificate from the New York Institute of Technology and a background as a certified school counselor. After supporting students in educational settings, Victoria made the intentional transition into mental health counseling in order to address deeper emotional challenges and provide more meaningful, individualized care.
Victoria has experience working with children, teens, and adults managing a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, life transitions, low self-esteem, and relational stress. Her approach is grounded in both clinical knowledge and authentic human connection.
Client Focus:
I am especially passionate about working with children, adolescents, and young adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, life transitions, or interpersonal struggles. I aim to support clients in developing greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and a stronger connection to themselves.
Types of Therapy:
My foundation is in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), where I help clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are interconnected. I also integrate elements of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Person-Centered Therapy to meet each individual’s needs.
My therapeutic style is collaborative, compassionate, and empowering. I tailor each session to help you challenge self-limiting beliefs and build healthy coping strategies that support long-term well-being.
Issues:
Anxiety, depression, self-esteem, life transitions, stress, relationship difficulties, and emotional regulation.
Therapy Modalities:
Individual therapy for children, adolescents, and adults.
More than just my work:
I bring both professional experience and heartfelt passion into my role as a therapist. Outside of the office, I enjoy exploring creative outlets, spending time with loved ones, and continuing to learn and grow both personally and professionally. I believe that healing happens through connection—and that starts with feeling safe, supported, and seen.
