Natalie Gutierrez, LMSW

As a therapist at Glacier Psychology Services, Natalie is committed to embodying our values and mission in her work with clients. She takes her time to really get to know her clients and their specific needs. Natalie takes great pride in her work as a therapist and enters into each session with a thoughtful treatment agenda. She utilizes her creativity to help clients feel comfortable to go beneath the surface level, creating impactful and lasting change. 
 
Experience: 

Natalie Gutierrez is a bilingual Spanish speaking Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW) in the state of New York. She received her Masters in Social Work from the Fordham University Graduate School of Social Service.

Natalie is experienced in providing individual and group counseling to individuals across age groups. Her approach is warm, collaborative and empathetic, in efforts to establish a safe space to discuss your needs, goals and to help facilitate your healing journey. 

Client Focus: 
I am especially passionate about providing holistic and trauma-informed care to children, adolescents and young adults struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, trauma-related stress, and child/adolescent behavioral concerns (i.e., ADHD). 
 
Types of Therapy: 
I utilize strengths-based and person-centered approaches, along with evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Motivational Interviewing, Family Systems and Solution-Focused Therapy. 
 
Most importantly, I tailor treatment to the needs and goals of my clients, and meet my clients wherever they are in their healing journey. 
 
Issues: 
Anxiety, depression, self-esteem, trauma-related stress, relationship stress/conflict, and child/adolescent behavioral concerns (i.e., ADHD). 
 
Therapy Modalities: 
Individual therapy, Play therapy, Couples counseling, Family therapy. 
 
Natalie also helps run therapy groups at Glacier. 
 
More than just my work: 
I am creative and love to make new things (both in and out of therapy sessions). The Glacier office may or may not be sprinkled with some of my homemade projects.
